About Petra
As a Flute tutor with 18 years of experience, I believe that teaching is about inspiring students as much as teaching skills. I work with school and college students and focus on creating enjoyable lessons that encourage steady improvement.
Students learn breathing techniques, posture, scales, rhythm, finger movements, tone development, and performance skills through simple step-by-step instruction.
One of the greatest milestones in my career has been seeing students gain confidence and perform proudly in front of audiences.
Alongside flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and music appreciation. My mission is to make music education enjoyable, practical, and rewarding for every learner.

My flute classes are designed to help students enjoy learning while steadily improving their musical abilities. My teaching approach combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity.
Lessons begin with posture, breathing exercises, rhythm, note reading, finger placement, and tone development. Advanced students learn articulation, dynamics, improvisation, musical interpretation, and stage performance techniques.
Motivation keeps students focused and confident throughout their learning journey. Communication allows students to express their doubts freely while receiving clear explanations. Integrity helps create a respectful classroom where every learner feels supported.
Creative lesson activities include movie songs, classical music, rhythm games, improvisation, duet performances, and listening exercises. I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance coaching.
