About Christopher
Hi! My name is Chris and I love organic chemistry! I've received my B.S. in Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University, Ph.D. from The Scripps Research Institute, and conducted postdoctoral studies at The Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (an MIT affiliate). I have over a decade of experience in the classroom and laboratory in both academic and industrial settings, resulting in 17 peer-reviewed scientific publications, presentations at national conferences, and invited lectures at academic institutions across the country. I look forward to working with you to sharpen your chemistry skillset!

Having difficulty with a particular topic in general or organic chemistry? Chris develops focused and customized lesson plans to accelerate your understanding of challenging topics. High school through graduate level students are welcome to reach out!
Chris has a B.S. and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with postdoctoral experience in Plant Chemical Biology. Prior teaching experiences have included 100-level and 400-level laboratory courses, 400-level lecture courses, 500-level organic methodology courses, and high school outreach experiences.
