About Edward
After completing a BSc in Accountancy, and MSc in Computer Science I built a successful career in finance in London over the last 9 years. I am currently taking a career break in Adelaide, and seek to share my knowledge and skills with children in the local community. I have been working in schools over the past 6 months, interacting and encouraging the learning on STEM to children, and found I am able to connect with them. For this reason, I wish to further this encouragement by aiding students in their studies.

Each lesson is delivered in 50 minutes, followed by a 10-minute extra time for resolving any residual problems and reinforcing lesson learnings. During the class time, I expect the student to present their challenge or topic to me, and we will work to resolve the issues to ensure the student understands the issues.
My teaching style revolves around patience and empathy, attempting to understand the students difficulties before proceeding to overcome these barriers of understanding. Maintaining a positive mindset is incredibly important to me, as attentiveness and enthusiasm are the keys to ensuring strong learners now and into the future!
