About Carolina

I am a mom of two beautiful children, both born in the U.S., while my husband and I are originally from Costa Rica. Professionally, I am a Corporate Accountant with 18 years of experience.
I have a strong passion for fitness—I started working out 13 years ago and have practiced different sports, from HIIT training to running. I’ve even completed two full marathons. Now, as a busy mom with a more limited schedule, I enjoy weight training in my garage, where we’ve created a dedicated workout space.
I love eating healthy meals, although on weekends you’ll definitely find me enjoying my favorite pizza or sushi. And for dessert, I absolutely love strawberries with chocolate.
I consider myself a great listener and a good friend. I truly look forward to connecting with you and talking about all these different topics—while practicing my favorite, native, and beautiful language: Spanish

About the lesson

I like giving you the tools for more natural and casual conversations. I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language, so I want you to feel engaged by talking about topics you’re passionate about—your hobbies, interests, and things you enjoy.
We’ll start with an initial assessment to understand your specific goals. After that, we’ll organize our classes around different topics, and I’ll make sure to be well-prepared for each session.
If you work in a corporate environment and want to improve your communication in Spanish with your Latin American colleagues, I can definitely help. As a corporate accountant who has worked with multiple teams across different Latin American countries, I can prepare you for success in this area.
