When teaching maths to a student, I find it is important to tailor the approach to the student's individual learning style and needs. Incorporating real-life examples and hands-on manipulatives can help make abstract maths concepts more concrete and engaging. Additionally, breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps and providing ample opportunities for practice and feedback can help build the student's confidence and understanding. Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth is also crucial in fostering a positive attitude
