About Sarah
I am a graduate and have just finished my degree in Accounting and Finance. I have previous experience including volunteering for 2 years in both GCSE and KS3 classes covering a range of subjects including maths, German and I.T. Specifically, I have helped GCSE students in their preparation for mathematics exams.

I base my teaching on healthy balance between a discussion and demonstration method. Through this I will begin by instructing the student on what to do followed by showing them exactly how to do it and then give them a chance to do it themselves. I will take the work or homework that the student has been given by their own teacher and help them work towards confidently answering the question independently. In order to achieve this I will analyse the material and questions already given to the student and prepare my own version and an array of additional practice questions to ensure the students confident understanding of the subject. With this I aim to target topics in which the student is struggling with most to ensure that their problem is mitigated.
