About Hugo
My name is Hugo, I am currently a 1st year Accounting and Finance student at Durham University. After achieving 3 A*s in my A levels, I knew that I could teach all the methods and techniques that I used to help others do the same. I have a passion for all the subjects I teach and am very enthusiastic about the content and exam technique, allowing for me to pass on this enthusiasm to my students.

My method of teaching is personalised to each student's specific needs. This could be needing help with content such as concepts or diagrams, or it could be needing help with exam technique such as essay structure or time management. I am able to help struggling students achieve the grades they need as well as helping more confident students reach the top grades of A-A*. Lesson length and times can also be tailored to suit the student to ensure they will be getting the most out of lessons and that lessons are at convenient times. I have lots of experience teaching through tutoring GCSE humanities students during my time at college as well as working as an assistant at a local primary school. I will introduce students to numerous methods of revision which worked for me as well as other approaches to help find the best way for them to learn and retain information.
