About Winter
Helping career-minded individuals bridge the gap between textbook theory and actual corporate finance is why I teach. I recall standing in a classroom 13 years ago, realizing that students needed more than just definitions to truly grasp how journal entries and payroll accounting function in a real office environment.
My approach is rooted in the practical realities of ledgers, trial balance, and the creation of accurate financial statements. I have supported many professionals in mastering closing entries, managerial accounting, complex depreciation methods, and accounts payable or receivable. My MBA from MIT provides the rigor needed for this work, but my classroom patience ensures that every concept stays accessible. Outside of these sessions, I appreciate the analytical side of finance and enjoy seeing my 147 students reach their professional goals.
