I am a student attending North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University on a full academic scholarship. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. In my previous calculus classes I have tutored and I also have been tutoring various subjects since middle school.

To teach I use your prior knowledge and I will relate the concepts to something they already understand and use that so they can then apply the same concept to the lesson. This to me has worked the best because if the student doesn't understand how what you are telling them flows with the rest of everything they have learned then they will have a harder time retaining the information.
