About Lily
My name is Lily Bullis, and I am a junior at Grand Valley State University. I began taking accounting classes at Grand Rapids Community College while still in high school to advance my college endeavors. I have taken the following courses: BA 256 (Principles of Accounting), ACC 213 (Managerial Accounting), MGT 268 (Business Processes and Management Information Systems, and ACC 240 (Financial Accounting). I also know Excel and have taken CIS 231 (Problem Solving Using Spreadsheets). I will do my best to teach students in a timely and efficient manner and answer any and all questions to the best of my ability.

I am a very visual learner, and I do well with formulas. When I teach students, I use visual aids and example problems. I walk through the formulas and offer little tips and tricks to help make homework easier. A typical lesson plan would include a set of examples of problems dealing with the issues the student needs help with. What sets me apart as a tutor is I will take the time the student needs to understand the problem. I will always do my best to explain the problems to the students that make the most sense to them. My aid would be most beneficial for students who are just beginning accounting classes, which would usually be freshmen and sophomores.
