About LISA

Hi! I'm Thương, a Vietnamese teacher from Hanoi – the heart of Vietnam's culture.

I'm a patient, cheerful, friendly tutor who is passionate about helping international learners speak Vietnamese naturally and confidently.

In my lessons, I use real-life stories and everyday conversations to help you not only improve your Vietnamese, but also understand the culture behind the language. Whether you're focusing on grammar or communication, I will always tailor the lessons to what you need most — so that you can see fast and meaningful progress.

I’ve worked with students from Japan, South Korea, the U.S., Germany, China, and more – helping them not only master the Vietnamese language but also deeply understand the culture and people of Vietnam.

I teach in the Northern Vietnamese accent (Hanoi dialect). I also speak English (TOEIC 800+) and Japanese (JLPT N2), which allows me to explain difficult concepts in an easy and understandable way.

Outside of teaching, I love traveling, exploring, and taking international friends to discover local food, cultural sites, and hidden gems around Hanoi.

I hold a professional certificate in Teaching Vietnamese as a Foreign Language.

With over 5 years of experience, I have taught students of all levels – from absolute beginners to advanced learners aiming to use Vietnamese for work and daily life.
