Lessons are engaging, informative and always tailored to the learner’s needs. I am able to recommend lots of online resources to aid the learner’s progress and provide them with lots of proven revision tools and tac tics. Before starting a lesson, topics should be sent to me so that I can plan a lesson specifically for the student’s needs. Lessons will include starter exercises to gain confidence with the topic, a main teaching element where I explain any concepts that are not fully understood yet. Then we will always finish with active recall and lots of exam questions under time conditions which helps build confidence in exams, improve exam technique and understand how to work under time pressure. This massively improves performance in exams especially in sciences which are subjects renowned for tough mark schemes which makes exam technique especially important.
