About Alex
I achieved a H1 (top grade) in the 2025 Leaving Certificate Irish exam, including 95% in the oral.
I spent 2 weeks in the ghaeltacht for the chance to experience irish in its purest form in 2023.
I offer Irish tutoring for all levels, from complete beginners who want to start speaking Irish with confidence, to Leaving Certificate students aiming to improve their oral and written exam results.
Lessons are tailored to each student, with a strong focus on spoken Irish, fluency, and exam technique.

I am aware of how poorly irish is taught in schools and I make every effort to keep my lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
I am happy to focus on any areas you would like to improve, whether that’s building confidence in general conversation or learning basic greetings and foundations.
I am open to teaching learners of all levels, who are interested in learning and using this beautiful language. Beatha teanga í a labhairt!
