About Marina
"Open mics in the South taught me more than any textbook ever could. I have spent 13 years performing across the American South and Southwest while refining my rhythm guitar technique. Teaching started when local regulars kept asking how I did what I did.
I work with students who want to master rhythm, strumming patterns, blues progressions, and sheet music. I also cover tuning, maintenance, and ear training. I have taught over 100 students to find their groove. See you at the stage."

I use my 13 years of gigging to assess your skills before building the lesson plan. My BFA from Belmont University helps me explain music theory in ways that actually make sense.
I evaluate your current level first. Then we map out a path for your growth.
We move at your pace to ensure you feel comfortable with your progress. You deserve a clear, practical approach to guitar. I focus on what works on stage. Let us get to work."
