"Instruction has been my main focus for 13 years. It is a long road. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance.
My work involves guiding teens, hobbyists, grade exam candidates, and working professionals. I rely on my ears to fix technique issues. The theory side is always present.
I prefer to keep things laid-back. I like a good groove. It just works."

My years spent at East Tennessee State University taught me that music theory is best understood through the act of playing rather than just reading sheet music. Whether we are focusing on barre chords, strumming patterns, or complex lead guitar lines, I prioritize clarity and posture to keep you playing longer. Because I have helped 201 students navigate these same hurdles, I know how to adapt my rhythmic approach to your specific acoustic technique.
We move at your pace through scales and modes while maintaining a steady pulse that drives the song forward. Tuning and maintenance are also covered so your instrument remains reliable for every practice session."
