About Destiny
Guitar playing is mostly about rhythm and the feel of the strings under your fingers. I graduated from Belmont University with a performance degree that focused on fiddle, but my 13 years in Americana bands made guitar my primary tool for songwriting.
My 11 years of experience mean I have seen every possible challenge a student might encounter. I have helped 248 students move past their plateaus by simplifying the complex world of barre chords and power chords. I hope to help you make sense of the fretboard while we enjoy the process together. Cheers to making some noise.

Sheet music is often a distraction when you are just trying to get a song to groove. I focus on helping absolute beginners and advanced learners alike understand the anatomy of a chord before they memorize shapes. By integrating grade exam prep with actual acoustic performance techniques, I ensure that you stay engaged. You will receive free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to keep you moving forward.
My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable navigating the neck of the guitar by ear. I keep the work light and focused on the mechanics of your hands.
