About Sydney
Acoustic technique and fingerpicking are my primary areas of focus for developing expressive musicianship. Musical growth is rarely a linear path. I earned my Artist Diploma in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music to ground my teaching in solid theory.
My 7 years of studio and stage work inform how I teach improvisation, scales, and modes. I assist students with chord transitions and reading sheet music to ensure they play with total confidence. Blues progressions and lead guitar are also part of my daily practice. You will reach your specific musical target.

Sometimes I find that simplifying a complex concept is the hardest part of the craft. I use 8 years of experience to break down songwriting and grade exam prep into manageable components.
