About Ash
I am a qualified secondary school teacher who is currently actively teaching. I have had a fascination with what we can do with programming since a very early age, particularly in the realms of video game development. From that, I went to do my Degree in Games development, which has taught me many different coding languages as well as how programming can be made fun for students to learn. The year after I finished, I coached a friend through much of the material that was covered. I believe that with the right support and willingness to learn that anyone can achieve great things within computing.

I tailor lessons specifically to the students, helping them to identify their strengths and build upon them, and helping students to identify and develop the points they may feel less confident in. I believe that good teaching is where students are encouraged and supported with an emphasis on fun and depth. This, I find, often allows students to remember important content due to the good memories they associate with the lesson.
