About Sarah
My name is Sarah Fuerst, and I have been working as an Emergency Medical Technician for the past six years. I am currently active in the field, which allows me to bring not only classroom knowledge but also firsthand, real-world experience into my tutoring sessions. I have always been passionate about emergency medicine and committed to providing excellent patient care. That same dedication carries over into my teaching. My goal is to help each student feel confident, competent, and fully prepared to take on the challenges of both the NREMT, and life in the field. As your tutor, I will work with you one-on-one to break down complex concepts, review practical skills, and strengthen your test-taking strategies. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of the process, and growth is the goal. Above all, I want my students to know that I am invested in their success—not just on exams, but in their development as capable and compassionate EMS professionals. The desired outcome from my tutoring sessions is to prepare you to not only “pass the tests”, but to give you the tools you need to hit the ground running upon entering the field. And to my students taking refresher courses or re-certifying, I aim to help you polish your knowledge and skills that may have lapsed over time.

My tutoring style blends real-world field knowledge with the academic and practical skills required to excel. Together, we’ll work through challenging topics, practice scenario-based learning, review protocols, and strengthen test-taking strategies to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
