I actually teach banjo! I was the president of a bluegrass organization at my college, and have taught many people the banjo. But I can teach some guitar, but my strong suit is music theory and banjo.

About Maddox
I was the bluegrass president at the college I just graduated from, and I’ve taught a lot of people how to get going.
Normally I can get someone jam ready in about one or two lessons, and once you know the basic shapes and some basic music theory I’ll teach you how to walk up the fretboard. After that you’re set.

We’d call and practice a couple of songs, but for the most part depending on what you want I can probably teach you the banjo in about 3 lessons if you’re eager enough!
But I can also teach basic bluegrass rules and rhythm, and some basic music theory to get you by at a jam!
