My teaching method is to help students find the pattern in their work, the method in the madness. Then when they have that down, they can attempt different types of questions. Practice makes perfect after all. I try to teach them the simple mathematical approach, keep the ending in mind, but start from the beginning and struggle yoir way through. There's no shortcut.
