About Bea

I have always been fascinated with Spanish, since I was in school, because of its logical structure. When I started to learn English and drew comparisons between both languages, I realised how different and similar in many aspects they are.
Having learnt English as a second language and Spanish as a native, I am able to accurately explain the equivalent meanings and forms in both languages, and help you make sense of the differences.

About the lesson

Whether it’s practising your Spanish, or learning it from scratch, I will adapt to your learning needs and pace. In the first meeting I will learn about your goals, your expectations, and how you best learn. For some people, it is watching a movie with Spanish subtitles. For others, it may be reading and doing repetition exercises. Whatever your reason for wanting to learn and/or practise your Spanish, I will help you get there.

My experience includes tutoring a former work colleague improve their existing knowledge of Spanish and pronunciation. I have also done private tutoring with the sister of a friend, whom I supported with her A Level, mainly covering grammar and vocabulary.

Perfect! I had a great first lesson with Bea. She spent time finding out about my goals and how I learn best. We then devised a plan for the next weeks. Bea was super friendly and made me feel at ease to use my new language. :-)
