About Stefano
Hi! I am a third year chemical engineering and biotechnology student, undertaking my studies at the University of Adelaide. I am a recent Saint Ignatius' College year 12 graduate (2018) and achieved a raw ATAR of 99.10, placing me in the top 1% of year 12 students in South Australia for 2018. I am offering online and in-person tutoring in all areas of mathematics and chemistry up to year 12 level. My university degree combines both of these subjects and regularly uses them at a high level. Hence, I am confident that I will be able to assist students in deconstructing challenging conceptual ideas and tackling complicated problems. I am extremely familiar with the current SACE curriculum and syllabus but also well-equipped to teach the content presented in all states of Australia for the subjects listed above.

I will provide each student with valuable supplementary material such as additional practice problems, videos and past tests/exams. I can also proof-read and check through personal notes to ensure high accuracy and adequate detail. The student is of course more than welcome to stop me and ask questions at any point throughout a session as well as ask me to adjust my teaching approach (slow down if necessary or repeat an explanation in a different way for example). Furthermore, I would like to emphasise that my students can contact me outside of tutoring hours through an agreed upon platform such as email, Skype or Facebook direct messages with any quick questions. Online sessions can take place via the interactive online whiteboard paired with a voice call and an optional video call, where I can guide students through concepts and problems. My tutoring sessions will run for one hour and I am currently able to offer 3-4 hours of tutoring per week at a rate of $40/hr.
