About Richard

I am the son of Sid Kuller, head writer for Donald O'Connor and many other 20th century music and comedy stars. My first teachers were Jack and Millie O'Connor (veterans of the O'Connor vaudeville troupe), who taught me tap dance, showmanship and stage comportment.

I began work as an actor when I was six, and continue to perform to this day. I have worked as a writer, director, choreographer and performer, and have taught tap, jazz, choreography and acting for the past two decades at Glendale College and Pasadena City College. I have made four short films, and recently directed and performed in a musical short titled The Little Man, currently showing at film festivals throughout the US and in Europe.

I love teaching, and will work with students of any age and skill level who have enthusiasm for music and movement and will practice in between lessons. I have a Bachelor's in English from the University of Redlands, am certified in three CA College Districts as equivalent to a Master in Theatre Arts in the "eminence" category. I'm married to actress and teacher Suzanne Collins, and live in Van Nuys, California.
