About Sue
Watching a student finally nail a barre chord for the first time is the best part of my day. I recall sitting in my bedroom for hours trying to master blues progressions until my fingers felt raw.
Those early struggles shaped my patient approach to teaching today. I work with folks who want to move beyond basic strumming patterns and understand the fretboard.
Music theory is not just for scholars, as it explains why power chords and lead guitar riffs sound so good together. I break down songwriting so it feels like a natural extension of your own musical taste. My goal is to keep things grounded in reality while we explore the instrument. It is just you, me, and the music.

I provide a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high for all my students. This ensures that you stay engaged with your guitar throughout the entire week.
I combine my experience with my Berklee Online certification to offer clear guidance on technique. You will find that these structured drills help you build muscle memory faster than aimless playing. I enjoy seeing students develop their own voice on the instrument.
