About Gary

I have been teaching and performing as a Professional Accordionist in the Ottawa area as a soloist, with various orchestras and with my Acoustiq Duo and Acoustiq Trio for many years.
Classically trained, I have been teaching professionally for many years and have taught well in excess of a 1000 students with some going on the become involved in the music world.
All styles of music are taught:
Classical, Jazz, Cajun, Cape Breton / Celtic, Ottawa Valley, Pop and Country.
If you are a beginner, we have designed a "Player Friendly" Accordion Method that will allow you to learn to play quickly easily and with confidence.
Lessons are also available to increase the playing skills of the intermediate and advanced player.
Qualifications: Universities of Alberta and Toronto: Theory, Harmony, Arranging

This first lesson offered with Gary will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

Our rates are based on a 4 week month at $30 per 1/2 hour lesson. If there is a 5th week in the month the extra lesson can be used for a lesson previously missed or you get a free lesson. Teaching days are Mondays and Thursdays from 12 noon to 8:30 pm.
