Spreadsheets glow with clean formulas. I demonstrate how to build models from scratch while explaining the mechanics of cost of capital and capital budgeting. We spend time on Excel for finance because it is the primary language of the industry. I share a financial-model template with every student to ensure they leave with a tangible asset.
Since I have 8 years of experience, I anticipate where students usually get stuck on bonds and equities. It is a straightforward process.
