About Caleb

My name is Caleb Hymson. I am a Junior at Sabino High School, with a 3.85 unweighted and 4.25 weighted GPA. I do varsity track and soccer, so I know communication and teamwork. This year in track, I went to Nike Outdoor Nationals. I know what it's like to push through struggle and keep working at something until you get it. I believe I will be an excellent tutor and help students truly grasp concepts they are struggling with.

About the lesson

Being a current high school student, I understand how children learn. I can find approaches that teachers haven't tried and I can relate more to the students. Being a teacher aide for a math class, I have experience helping with difficult problems. I have lots of patience, and will never get mad if a student takes a long time to understand the concepts. I can also explain how the math works, which can help students understand real-world applications and reach a deeper understanding of the material.
