About Fonny

I took my mandarin education at Zhejiang University International College (浙江大学国际教育学院） for 2 years, and I have passed the Advance level (高级班）.
My experiences as a translator are as follows:
1. Becoming a native Chinese Branch Manager translator from telecommunication technology company during a visit in Malang
2. Becoming a translator as well as purchasing admin who deals directly with Chinese people in a furniture manufacturing company in Malang.

About the lesson

The teaching method I will use is similar to Chinese Teacher's methods at Zhejiang University:

1. Grammar (语法) - Grammar is very important to learn correctly, and is very significant component in both verbal and non-verbal composition.

2. Vocabulary (生词 / 词汇) - Chinese characters are well-known to be hard to remember and quite intimidating for new students. However, I will guide you to memorize the vocabulary and understand the meaning, as well as giving tips and tricks on how to memorize it like how my teacher used to teach me.

3. Reading Skill (阅读) - the ability to read articles in Chinese is also a very important aspect to learn. Sometimes, we've never learned the words and don't understand its meaning, but we must be able to understand the entire article. This ability is very important for those of you who want to do the HSK exam.

4. Speaking (口语) - I will also provide trainings for students who want to practice communication in Chinese. I will teach and correct the reading tone (声调), pronunciation, and also teach how to speak Mandarin naturally (语言感).

5. Listening (听写) - I will also provide Listening material with various media so our class won't be boring, yet can still practice listening skills.

6. Writing (作文) - For writing composition or making an essay, I will give it to students who are at the intermediate level and up.
