About Laken
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in 3 years. I began teaching immediately. In my 7 years teaching, I became double-certified. In my 5th year, my school awarded me an Advanced Level certificate based on my consistency in achieving strong results with students. My last 2 years in education were focused on coaching and managing teachers of STEM contents.

You will receive an individualized experience tailored to your student's needs based on your student's performance on a given pre-test OR based on your student's historical performance on exams/quizzes (if you can provide them). Lessons will focus on high impact skills with low performance and will intend to spiral foundational skills along the way. As an experienced math teacher, I am critically aware of what your child needs to have learned up to and beyond Algebra I.
