About Rishika

Hi! My name is Rishika, I am from the Bay Area, California. I am a current high school junior (11th grade). I do basketball, karate, dance, and love interacting with kids. I aspire to pursue a career in medicine, specifically as a heart surgeon. I am currently taking numerous advanced AP classes at high school and college at the same time, with straight A's so far. I have also been an active tutor and volunteer at Kumon, RSM, and Mastermind Tutoring Academy for 4 years. I love learning, and I want to share my educational experiences and advice with younger students. Remember, summer is a great time to get ahead! Being a high school student right now, I know exactly what the school curriculum and teaching styles are, and can relate to and teach the student better.

About the lesson

I cater and personalize my teaching plan to how the particular student's learning style and academic level. I will go through videos, worksheets, slideshows, fun activities, and games in order for the students to learn. My main goal is the student's learning, improvement, and engagement, so I am always up for any constructive feedback!
Math subjects I am advanced in are pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, geometry, statistics & probability, and GATE related logical math. I can also help with test prep, or studying for a unit test.
I can help with homework or teach something specific you are struggling with. Meetings will be via Zoom or Google Meet, whatever is preferred.
