My name is Avantika, and I'm a 9th grader looking to aid your child with math. As an ambitious student with a deep passion for mathematics, I bring immense dedication to everything I do. Beyond math, I excel in band, the piano, and classical dance. These creative disciplines have taught me patience, structure, and the value of hard work. My Teaching Approach: I believe math does not have to be intimidating. Having excelled in high school math courses in 8th grade, I know exactly what it takes to master these concepts early. My method focuses on breaking down equations and foundational arithmetic into simple, bite-sized steps. I adapt my pace to each student's learning style, ensuring they understand the "why" behind the math rather than just memorizing numbers and letters.
What Sets Me Apart: As a student who is currently a part of the school system, I speak the same language as my students. I'm not a rigid lecturer. I am a peer who understands school stress, test anxiety, and the specific hurdles of school-based math.
