About Lini
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and fostering creativity while providing structured, goal-oriented instruction.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve recognition, confidence, and technical mastery. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s individual goals, interests, and pace of learning.

I believe that effective teaching combines compassion, communication, and encouragement. My goal is to create lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s strengths and needs.
In piano lessons, I emphasise technical development, sight-reading, rhythm, and expressive playing, ensuring students make steady progress while enjoying the process. I maintain open and clear communication, explaining techniques in simple terms and encouraging students to ask questions or share their challenges.
Supportiveness is central to my teaching—I help students navigate difficulties with patience, celebrate milestones, and provide consistent guidance to maintain motivation. I also apply this methodology to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, ear training, and beginner composition.
By creating a nurturing and inspiring environment, I aim to help students build both skill and confidence, fostering a lifelong connection with music.
