About Pegah
I am a PhD researcher in Economics and Development at Sapienza University of Rome, specializing in applied econometrics and causal inference. My work focuses on labor-market outcomes using large Iranian micro-datasets, applying advanced methods such as matching, difference-in-differences, and event-study designs in RStudio. My lessons combine applied econometrics with hands-on implementation in RStudio, tailored to your level and research goals. We work step by step through causal inference tools—difference-in-differences, event-study designs, matching methods, and panel data techniques—using real or simulated datasets. Each session focuses on both intuition and practice: data cleaning, model estimation, interpretation, robustness checks, and producing publication-ready tables and graphs. The aim is to help you understand the “why” behind the methods, not just run the code.
