About James
I have just completed my bachelor of science (advanced) double majoring in biochemistry and genetics at the university of Adelaide. Next year I am commencing honours in biochemistry, focusing on xray-crystalography and structural biochemistry. I acted as the biochemistry student representative during second year, conducted peer mentoring across both semesters in third year, and aided the faculty of science as a VC host during O week activities in third year.

My teaching method relies on conceptual descriptions by diagrammatic and verbal means, followed by discussion, questions and application. This model allows the tutor a concise description of the topic and allows the student an opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings before verification of understanding by application. Lessons can cover general concepts, or specific areas of difficulty. In either case, I aim to identify areas of difficulty as focal points in each lesson.
