About Avery
Completing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a piano diploma provided a rigorous foundation for my violin work. My 13 years of experience allow me to simplify complex posture and hold issues. I specialize in refining spiccato and staccato bowing for serious students.
Precise rhythm and timing are the hallmarks of my instruction. I emphasize double stops and scales as essential daily disciplines. It is vital to master the mechanics before finding the music. I will support your development with a calm and methodical approach.

Focusing on the fine details of bowing technique makes the violin sing clearly in our space. A typical session begins with a slow check of your posture before we move to ear training exercises.
We track your progress through a monthly report shared with parents to ensure consistency. My background in chamber performance helps me demonstrate how phrasing works within a larger group. You will find that my dual focus on technical accuracy and musicality helps you gain confidence.
