About Tara
Hi, I’m Tara. I’m a former elite gymnast with over 13 years of training and more than six years of coaching experience across Queensland. Movement, creativity, and self-expression have always been central to my life, and my work now brings these elements together in a supportive, confidence-building way.
I offer gymnastics, circus, aerial (acro), FREE G (ninja), and creative art-based classes for children and young people. I’ve worked across KinderGym, recreational and higher-level programs, and I focus on developing strong foundations through safe technique, strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Sessions are always adapted to the individual, allowing students to progress at their own pace without pressure.
My coaching style is calm, patient, and encouraging, with a strong emphasis on well-being and emotional safety. I value creativity just as much as physical skill, and I love helping students explore movement and art as tools for confidence, regulation, and self-expression.
My aim is to create a nurturing environment where students feel safe to try, build resilience, and enjoy learning — whether through gymnastics, circus skills, aerial work, ninja-style movement, or creative art activities.

My lessons are designed to be safe, supportive, and confidence-building, combining structured skill development with creativity and self-expression. I offer gymnastics, circus, aerial (arco), FREE G / ninja, and creative art classes, with sessions adapted to suit each individual’s age, ability, and emotional needs.
Each lesson includes:
A gentle, purposeful warm-up to prepare the body
Skill development using safe progressions and clear technique
Strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness training
Creative exploration through movement, circus skills, or art-based activities
A calm, encouraging environment where students feel supported to try new things
I focus on foundations over rushing skills, helping students build confidence, resilience, and a positive relationship with movement. Lessons are paced carefully and adjusted in the moment based on energy levels, confidence, and readiness.
My teaching style is patient and nurturing, with an emphasis on emotional safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment. I’m especially mindful of students who may feel nervous, sensitive, or unsure of their abilities, and I aim to create sessions where every student feels seen, capable, and proud of their progress.
My goal is not just to teach skills, but to help students develop body trust, self-belief, creativity, and joy in movement, whether they are beginners, returning after a break, or exploring new ways to move and express themselves.
