About Angie
I graduated from the #3 Aerospace Engineering program in the world, Purdue University. During my time there, I was President of the largest engineering organization on campus (600+ members). I was named an Aviation Weekly 20 Twenties (top 20 aerospace students in the nation) and a Purdue Engineering Fellow (top 5 engineering students at Purdue). I completed 5 internships during school at both Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, including 1 internship in high school. After graduating, I secured my dream job since high school in Flight Test Engineering at Boeing. I am now in the highly competitive and sought-after early career engineering program at Boeing. As a 1st generation college student, I understand the struggles and hardships that come with higher education. As someone who's first-hand gone through the difficulties and succeeded, I hope to inspire and push high-achieving students chase their dreams.

As a patient, encouraging, and positive teacher, I plan to tutor students by first going over questions they have with their homework or curriculum. I then plan on showing them real-world examples of how their math problems can relate to their day-to-day lives. This type of approach allows students to challenge their thinking while getting them excited about math. I also plan to coach the student in their school involvements to better prepare them for higher education. This includes motivational mentoring, life coaching, and college/career planning.
