About Paul
I bring a calm, professional and student-centred approach to tutoring, grounded in both academic experience and real teaching practice. I have extensive experience explaining complex ideas clearly, from introducing complete beginners to skiing, to supporting siblings and parents with GCSE Physics, Maths and Geography. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and WJEC specifications and prioritise working with learners to build confidence, independence and resilience. Currently completing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems after a BEng in Aerospace Engineering, I value education as a process of understanding and fulfilment, not just performance.

I tutor GCSE Physics, Maths and Geography using a friendly, step-by-step approach. I like to see learning as a 100 m hurdle race: we pause at each obstacle, work through it together and practise until it feels natural. I am currently doing my master's degree in Sustainable Energy Systems, so I was in your position not too long ago. Lessons last 1 to 1.5 hours, focused on proper understanding rather than rushing or covering content.
