About Muhammad

Hello! My name is Muhammad Shafay, and I’m a recent Aerospace Engineering graduate from Coventry University. I’m passionate about teaching because I know firsthand how challenging it can be to understand difficult concepts, especially in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. When I was a student, I often struggled with complex topics and sometimes felt overwhelmed. That experience motivated me to find better ways to learn and eventually helped me succeed academically. Now, I want to share what I’ve learned with my students. I’m committed to helping each student overcome their own challenges by breaking down tough ideas into clear, simple steps and creating a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged. My goal is to build not just knowledge but also confidence and critical thinking skills, so students feel empowered and motivated. With my strong academic background and personal experience, I understand the frustration of struggling with subjects and how rewarding it is to make progress. I am dedicated to guiding students through their learning journey with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centred and adaptable, focused on making learning clear, engaging, and effective. I use a mix of techniques such as breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, using real-life examples, and encouraging active participation through questions and practice problems. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual learning style and goals, ensuring they not only understand the material but also build confidence and critical thinking skills. Typically, my lessons last between 60 and 90 minutes, however can go beyond if the situation requires, allowing enough time to cover new topics, review previous material, and practice problems without overwhelming the student. I am a recent Aerospace Engineering graduate from Coventry University and have a strong academic background, having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels in Dubai. This diverse experience allows me to teach a wide range of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Science, History, and English. My lessons are designed for students of all ages and levels, from primary school to university preparation. Whether a student needs help catching up, wants to excel further, or is preparing for exams, I provide personalised support to help them achieve their academic goals.
