About Yash
I have a passion for aerospace engineering and throughout my experience in undergraduate studies, it was the opportunities I had to teach my peers that made the process enjoyable. Teaching is a very rewarding experience, as knowledge is never given away, but rather multiplied and with every teaching experience there is something to learn for both the teacher and the student.
Outside of teaching, I am an amateur photographer and I try to keep active through calisthenics.

Depending on the specific topic at hand, my initial approach is to assess the understanding of the student and their familiarity with the topic/subject. Once this has been established, I will initiate teaching the subject by tackling the fundamentals first as I believe a thorough understanding of the structure of a topic is crucial when learning something new. I encourage students to ask as many questions as they can to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. The end of the session will consist of a brief exercise to summarise the learnings from that session and this will also aid the student in recognising how their performance is progressing. My sessions last an hour, however I am happy to arrange for longer sessions when needed.
