About Ayaan

Hi! I’m Ayaan, an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, and I’m passionate about helping students become more confident and capable in Maths and Physics.

Having achieved straight A/A*s at A-level, I know how rewarding it is when a difficult topic finally clicks. I have experience tutoring GCSE and AS-Level students in Maths and the Sciences, and I particularly enjoy finding clear, intuitive ways to explain concepts that initially seem complicated.

I’m approachable and patient, but I also want my students to make genuine progress. Whether you’re aiming for the top grades or simply want to feel more confident in a subject, I’ll tailor my teaching to what works best for you.

About the lesson

I like lessons to be active and focused on you, the student, rather than simply talking through a topic. We’ll identify what you’re finding difficult, break it down into manageable parts, and then apply it to questions so you can see exactly how the ideas work in practice. Practice makes perfect!

I’ll adapt the pace and difficulty to suit you, whether that means going back to basics, working through challenging problems or concentrating on exam technique. I’m also happy to go beyond the specification when it helps build a stronger understanding of the subject or a topic at hand.

I teach GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics online, with sessions typically lasting one hour. I use an interactive setup that makes it easy to work through questions together and receive immediate feedback throughout the lesson on Google Meet.
