I am a firm believer in explaining until the general concept is understood and then doing multiple example questions together and then having you answer a few on your own, As I've found this method exceptionally useful in my studies. A typical lesson will consist of breaking down a larger topic Into bite size chunks and then building up your knowledge piece by piece until the topic is understood.
