About Jacob
I am a first-year Aeronautics & Astronautics student at the University of Southampton, currently achieving First Class Honors (equivalent to a 3.9 GPA). Having graduated from the TDSB as an Ontario Scholar and Honor Roll student from Grades 9 to 12, I am very familiar with its curriculum (and those surrounding) as well as its academic expectations. I understand how challenging school content and teaching style can sometimes be. That’s why I’m passionate about helping students not just meet, but exceed their goals! My aim is to provide clear, supportive guidance to help you achieve top marks and feel confident in every test and assignment you may face!

-Starts with constructive conversation with the Student (and parents if wanted) about what they would like from the lesson -Start with questions and understand weak and strong areas. Based on weaker areas, the content will be revisited and thoroughly reviewed with the student. -The student is encouraged to have full transparency with me, and ask as many questions as needed to grasp the material thoroughly. -I will use techniques like Bloom's Taxonomy to gauge students' understanding. -End of the lesson, depending on time, I will review the questions with the student and provide new questions to challenge them! -I am very understanding when it comes to learning new concepts, so I will do everything I can to simplify them and make learning fun! - These lessons are mainly for math and physics, and I am happy to help any students in middle school to grade 12. Students taking classes at the University, College, and AP levels are welcome!
