About Alex
My name is Alex and I am currently studying Aerospace engineering, astronautics and space technology at Kingston University. I have a strong background in maths, physics and geography achieving A*s in these subjects at A level and 9's at GCSE. I understand that these subjects are not easy to learn, but once topics are understood the methods are learnt which are used in every other question. I have tutored before with my students improving by on average 2 grades in the space of 3-6 months. Everyone is unique and has different ways of learning, I love to explore this and help students get the grades they deserve.

I am a firm believer that passing your exams is a consequence of your knowledge. When I teach, I make sure that my students enjoy it and gain the knowledge they will need to pass, rather than focusing on the exams they have coming up. In the first lesson we will find a baseline and areas to improve on. I will use this to tailor each lesson to the needs of the student, reinforcing this with some home practice. This will reinforce what they have learnt and develop their confidence tackling more difficult questions. We will then test this regularly to ensure they are learning and make sure they are enjoying the subject. I am happy to put in place additional support for those who need it, everyone deserves the same opportunities.
