About Susan
I am a second-year UW Chemical Engineering student from Markham. I have a vast array of education-oriented experiences, including having been a teaching assistant in a 1st- and 2nd-grade class in a Mandarin summer school when I was in grade 8. In grade 11, I peer tutored two MPM2D (grade 10 math) students, and in grade 12, I peer tutored an SPH3U (grade 11 physics) student and an MCR3U (grade 11 functions) student. Through this platform, I have also taught grade 9 and 10 science to a dedicated high school student who wanted to learn ahead. If my experience has not yet spoken for itself, my determination does. My grades and academic achievements demonstrate that I strive for academic excellence.

My goal has always been to pinpoint where students are struggling. How do I do this? First, I will share a question spreadsheet with you before our first lesson. I will consult this spreadsheet for any specific questions or concepts that you have so I can answer them in our next session. Even if nothing is written in the question log, I will find example questions for you to try out. Whenever you're unable to answer a question, I will guide you through it. You may be wondering; "What if I forget what I learned?" Don't worry, I will keep track of what concepts we go through every meeting in a slideshow that I will share with you after each lesson. That way, you will always have something to look back to!
I can also create full lessons from scratch whenever I have time.

Perfect! Susan is really a very good tutor. Each lesson is well organized and informative. Thank you for her passion and dedication to teaching.
- Lawrence's son, Martin, is a very intelligent, dedicated individual. Martin has always listened attentively to lessons and could understand nearly every concept that I taught him. Martin knows to ask questions when he needs help and completes some of the optional homework that I assign him. He is a pleasure to tutor!Susan's response :
