About Leo
Hi! My name is Leo, and I am about to start my undergraduate degree in English and Spanish at the University of Oxford.
After supporting my peers while studying for my exams, I was inspired to offer affordable support more widely. I also spent last year teaching English to a group of Ukrainian refugees, and after the success of this, I was keen to expand.
I offer Spanish as a second language classes, as someone who achieved a grade 9 at GCSE, an A* at A Level, and who has in depth cultural knowledge through family and friend connections. I am also pursuing Hispanic studies at university.
I also specialise in Spanish study for the British exam system, and after recently completing my GCSEs and A Levels, I am able to provide up to date 1-1 support.
I grew up living by the sea, and in my spare time I enjoy running, reading, spending time with my dog, Pickle, and helping the local community through volunteering. I am also a trained singer, with LCM Grade 8 in Musical theatre.

Classes will last between 30 mins - 1hr.
Spanish classes will include vocabulary lists, literary resources, as well as conversational practice. Classes are aimed at everyone hoping to better their Spanish, but especially beginner-intermediate level speakers.
I have a GCSE at Grade 9 in Spanish, and achieved 3x A* at A Level. I speak the language at C1-C2 level. With Spanish family and friends, I have a strong grasp of Hispanic culture, and have been studying the language from the age of 5. In addition, I spent last year teaching English to a group of Ukrainian refugees, and after the success of this, I was keen to expand. I am about to undertake my undergraduate degree in languages, with the hope to move to Colombia during my year abroad. Alongside Spanish, I also have a beginner's knowledge of French and Italian.
