About Agegnehu Shaie

In teaching mathematics I worked for more than 15 years with students of junior classes, high schools, and in college. While all of my teaching experiance have been rewarding, I most enjoy teaching in junior classes grade 7 and 8. Beyond working in the regular class teaching, I have more than 5 years of experiance in tutoring math for differrnt students. I have also enjoyed developing supplimentary materials. My teaching method is participatory that focus on facilitator for students' learning, rather than as dispensor of knowledge. I encourage students be actively engaged in the learning process. The examples I usually used are not only help to understand the subject matter but also prepare students to apply math in their daily life. In addition to these I enjoyed to coordinate math club that host interested students in order to discuss further topics of the subject by the students them selves to students.
