About Shay
I have great passion when it comes to teaching students about Agriculture. I believe it is a subject that is becoming less relevant to many people in the United States and it's our responsibility to continue to support Agriculture by becoming an ambassador to extinguish any common misconceptions. Agriculture is such a big part of my everyday life and I find great passion in sharing my experiences and knowledge with others to help drive their interests. There are many lucrative and growing careers in the Agriculture Industry that are waiting for people like you to fill those roles. I can also help you prepare for interviews and give you pointers on what managers are looking for in todays workforce.

I can help you bridge the gap between book learning and real world experiences. I think some of the greatest struggles I experienced as a college student were classroom learning from a book and not through hands on experience. I was a good student and put lots of time and effort into my studies but I had trouble grasping the concepts of each topic by the book. The second school I attended and graduated from incorporated real world hands on experience through labs with classroom learning and that is what helped me understand the concepts and graduate with honors. I grew up on a small cattle operation and learned how to manage cattle at a young age. Since I graduated college I've furthered my experience in Agriculture and become very well rounded in my experience and I approach learning from a real world perspective.
