About Daniel
My background is as a social worker and my main population was children in juvenile detention center. I spent years helping these kids with their math homework and tutoring students while I was in college in graduate level statistics and precalculus. I've tutored math on and off for the last 15 years, from basic algebra to preparing students for the SATs and GREs. My focus now is solely on working with kids who hate algebra and geometry!

Having a solid grasp of the basics in one of the keys to passing and doing well in math. Another key is making math salient and memorable. I have an unorthodox approach with helping kids who hate math, achieve success beyond their expectation.
Lessons must be short and frequent. General, basic ideas that help with attention and focus go a long way. Math must be broken down and regressed for kids who struggle with the subject. I have experience with kids who hate math! Reach out to me and we can get started right away!
